Mus musculus domesticus. Found World-wide. Ancestor of the White mice widely used for scientific experimentation. Soft fur, yellowish gray on top w/ black. Eats any plants or animal material it can find. It is slightly less than 17cm. long including the tail which is 8cm. long. Domestic mice, because of better nutrition are often larger. Breed every 10-17 weeks. Producing 5-10 young.
